What’s holding you back?
Welcome back!
As part of the development of the National Association of Virtual Legal Assistants, I’ve been reading some legal blogs and speaking with some attorneys to get a better idea of how attorneys feel about hiring VAs.
I decided to take a quick survey to get a better idea of what attorneys think of the VLA industry and working with VLAs. It’s a very quick survey and it’s not limited to attorneys. I’d like to invite anyone to take a few moments to answer it.
And feel free to expand on any of your answers or to ask any questions.
You can access the survey here.

Hello All:
I find that in my area there is a definite need for VLA’s in the legal community. At times, when I walk into a law office, you will see the receptionist or legal assistant’s demeanor of what I call “a watch dog” lol. Asking “what do you want?” When I give them my introduction of how I am offering Adminstrative Support Services to them you can see their eyes light up. I find this to be definitely true in Solo Attorney Practices. We all know, that when their Assistant, Paralegal is out, then they are flying alone. The Legal Assistants are definitely interested in the help. The problem I have is that I am considered a “Plan B”. How do I get around the “Plan B” stage?
